High School Sweethearts Elope to Alaska

Emily and Travis are a fun couple with an incredible sense of adventure. The two have been dating since high school and been together for eight years.
When they decided to get married they knew they wanted an epic honeymoon and were not that interested in spending all their money on a reception. They also have a goal of traveling a lot together. When they began discussing eloping, they originally looked into eloping internationally but found the laws to elope in another country were challenging. Alaska seemed like a great option to fill their need for travel, adventure and an epic adventure.
They eloped in a meadow in Girdwood, Alaska and then spent their honeymoon enjoying activities such as a boat tour through the Kenai Fjords in Seward and a flight around Denali in a bush plane in Talkeetna before ending their trip in Fairbanks.
The blue and yellow of Simple Petal's florals reflect the Alaska state colors and popped beautifully against the forest greens.
