I am inspired by new designs: new ways of mixing different colors and patterns together. I also really, really love being introduced to new vendors and re-acquainted with oldies-but-goodies (which is how I think of myself! Ha!)

Okay, okay it is not all fluff and pretty stuff I swear. We had a ton of fun, keeping real couples in mind who are looking for a great time, good food and good local Alaska beer to keep their favorite people dancing under the midnight sun. I am absolutely in love with this amazing VW Bus Bar for you, as well as drinks from a local brewery, one of my personal favorites.

MEET REBECCA
Hey there! I am Rebecca, I was born and raised in Alaska. I have always been a party planner at heart, even from childhood. In 2012, after some soul searching I realized my life long dream by founding La Boum Events. For me it is the perfect balance of my desire to be a working artist and my get-schutff-done approach to life. I have a quick brain, I am great with details, I love a challenge and approach problem solving with a flexible attitude... it was a perfect fit.
I specialize in one-of-a-kind weddings, inspired by the love stories and adventures of our incredible couples. Personally, I love working with joyful, adventurous, fun-seeking couples who want to create an incredible Alaskan experience for their big celebration.
When I am not working, I love to slow down and enjoy the simple Alaska life with my husband and kids. I am savoring the slow process of renovating an old farm house, running an urban homestead, and making wine.
