Aimee and Kyle were married in one of my favorite Alaska venues up in Fairbanks. It is called Huffman Manor and it has all the romantic feels with the way the house is set into the forest. The venue has a beautiful location for a ceremony with a large back yard which is perfect for gettin' down under the midnight sun! It is also perfect for a forest themed wedding.

This was a really fun, soft and romantic palette of pale blush, taupe, tan, olive green and sage with small accents of gold. I was thrilled with how the layer of fabrics, natural wood napkin rings, rustic water color papers and candles all came together exactly as Aimee wanted. It looked so beautiful among the trees for an Alaska forest themed wedding at Huffman Manor.

Hey there! I am Rebecca, I was born and raised in Alaska. I have always been a party planner at heart, even from childhood. In 2012, after some soul searching I realized my life long dream by founding La Boum Events. For me it is the perfect balance of my desire to be a working artist and my get-schutff-done approach to life. I have a quick brain, I am great with details, I love a challenge and approach problem solving with a flexible attitude... it was a perfect fit.
I specialize in one-of-a-kind weddings, inspired by the love stories and adventures of our incredible couples. Personally, I love working with joyful, adventurous, fun-seeking couples who want to create an incredible Alaskan experience for their big celebration.
When I am not working, I love to slow down and enjoy the simple Alaska life with my husband and kids. I am savoring the slow process of renovating an old farm house, running an urban homestead, and making wine.
